Fundraising Essentials: Growing Your Parent Program Bootcamp

As parents and families continue to grow their engagement with their children’s university/college choice, those of us in the field of growing generosity have an exceptional opportunity. The desire of parents and families to engage with our campuses translates to a platform for building relationships that can lead to philanthropy.

At KDD Philanthropy, our commitment to and passion for building parent/family philanthropy programs is matched by our practical approach to growing your tools to support this work, as well as a deep understanding of the evolutions currently underway in parent/family fundraising. Our recent parent/family webinars and skill building workshops resulted in requests to create an expanded curriculum for engagement and gift officers.

We are delighted to bring back our Fundraising Essentials Virtual Bootcamp dedicated to those who work with parents and families. We will talk trends, expand outreach hooks, discuss the data you really need, brainstorm on building stronger campus partnerships, strengthen approaches for a first ask, and build community in breakouts and discussions. All exercises will be tailored with parent/family engagement/fundraising in mind.

At KDD Philanthropy, we understand the role of focus and rigor in meeting our goals, and our bootcamp will be filled with strategies to support your work with these same tools.

Whether you’re an individual looking to refresh your skills or a leader seeking to invest in your team, join us for an energizing day where we will talk all-things parents and families!

This intensive day (6.5 hours) will be high energy, with a mix of presentation, discussion and exercises. Affordable and featuring KDD Philanthropy’s practical and proven approach, attendees leave our virtual bootcamp with tools to enhance the focus, discipline and best practices that support stronger outcomes for their organizations. And organizations that invest in advancement training are not only supporting retention; they are also creating long-term, high-performing front line fundraising teams.

The Parent/Family Fundraising Essentials Virtual Bootcamp is a LIVE event (no recordings). Full participation in the bootcamp is applicable for 6.5 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
