Kathy has so much passion, energy, knowledge, and has the ability to quickly assess what needs to happen and then design accountability metrics that make sense. Most recently, I hired her to mentor a junior development officer for the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management and help that individual develop a fundraising strategy. Under Kathy’s mentoring, our development officer brought our School’s annual giving rate up to 12 percent, which is amazing considering the University’s annual giving rate of 4 percent. Kathy helped make that possible.
