I’ve been working with Kathy for about eight years in two different positions. When I was at City of Hope, Kathy was a coach and trainer for my major and principal gifts fundraising team. She was instrumental in helping them develop their strategies and keep them focused on their relationships and soliciting gifts. At Adventist Health, Kathy conducted a training session for our board of directors. She is an incredible trainer, has terrific energy and is so gifted at being able to adapt to so many personalities. The board members left the session feeling empowered and motivated; and as a result, we are bringing her back for a return training. … Whether I am overseeing a team of fundraisers or working with my board of volunteers, I’ve seen how Kathy has an incredible ability to bring people along in a very natural and comfortable way.
