The Weber State University development team was introduced to Kathy through her webinars. Just listening to her presentations and her approach to fundraising has been so beneficial. She provides wonderful, natural phrasing that we can put into our own voice to have authentic conversations with donors. In January, we brought Kathy in-house for a customized two-day training that made everyone so excited to go out and fundraise. We have a team of 10 fundraisers and everyone has a different fundraising, processing and listening style. Yet what Kathy teaches resonates with all of them. … I’m new in my position, I went from being a peer to a supervisor. Through her coaching, my confidence has grown so much in how I’m leading the team and how we approach fundraising. I feel like a whole new person in what we’re offering to the team. Kathy gives you the tools to be successful and holds your feet to the fire. But, she’s been a fundraiser and has walked the walk. She never asks others to do more than what she has done herself.
