I came to my role in fundraising from a sales background and one of the first things I did was attend Kathy’s Fundraising Essentials workshops. Since then, Kathy has become an incredible resource! After attending two in-person training sessions and one-on-one coaching sessions with Kathy, I encouraged Miami University of Ohio to have Kathy lead a session for our entire advancement shop. We continually participate in the KDD Philanthropy webinars, and I own her probing questions book. I encourage our staff, especially the new team members, to attend the webinars. They love to participate and always come away from each session having learned something new and can use in their daily practice.
