Kathy has empowered me as a fundraiser. She’s given me tools and language to really take ownership of what it is to be a fundraiser and, in that respect, changed my thinking and how I fundraise and engage with donors. Once I began working with Kathy and implementing her strategies and tools, it added steam to my work. Kathy has very clear ways of thinking about the cycle and industry of philanthropy. She changes the language we use to make our work more relatable. This reminds us that, as fundraisers, we are furthering our organization’s mission and helping people who are philanthropic make meaningful connections.
